Heather & Stefan are wonderful! Heather is such an incredible lady. She’s funny as heck, passionate, creative and driven. She found a knock out guy to call hers. Stefan is such an incredible guy; funny, charming, down to earth and loyal. These guys are quite the pair.

Ahh where do I start with this wedding. Fist off I was Miss Puddles during their ceremony. It’s amazing how well I have come to be able to see and shoot through tears! Heather & Stefan were married at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce building. It’s the first time I have photographed a wedding there and what beautiful place to get married & host a reception. The building is amazing and full of old charm & character. All of their friends and family were delightful. Heather, Stefan & their family put in a lot of love & care into the decor of the reception and it was playful, whimsical & fun. They did it their way, which is the magic the best weddings are made of.

We felt so honored to be a part of this special day. The world doesn’t make them better than these guys. What a great thing to celebrate in on of the most beautiful buildings in Calgary. Wendy and Steve were married at the Lougheed House on a beautiful Friday in Calgary.  I had such a wonderful time working with these two.  They are down to earth, easy going, and sweet people to the core.  These two put their stamp on their day.  It was clean, classy and beautiful and fit them to a tee.  Wendy is a positive, bubbly and a very classy woman.  She reminds me of Grace Kelly through and through.  Steve’s eyes reminds me of Paul McCartney!

Their friends and family were simply adorable.  Overall there were some of the nicest people you could imagine all in one place!  Thank you for sharing your special day with me.  I will never forget it!  Lots of love – Shawna

Brianna & Pat are the type of couple that walk in a room and light up the place. They have big hearts, big smiles & big personalities. It’s like in high school when you have that beautiful couple that everyone wants to be around… that is Brianna & Pat, people just gravitate to them.

Friends & Family traveled far and wide to be with them on their big day. They even had a close family friend drive their beautiful antique Bentley all the way from Vancouver! Wow! This wedding had some of the funniest people in the world all in one place for the evening. During some of the photographs they even had a quirky smile called the BANANA! I have never laughed so hard at a wedding in my entire life. Pat’s best man honestly gave the most epic toast I have ever experienced, people were rolling. By the end of the night my abs had a full work out and my cheeks burned from laughing so hard. This was a true group of funny wonderful people.

Brianna & Pat’s family treated everyone like family. They were warm, caring and truly joyful. I can’t say enough about the amazing quality of people at this wedding. Hearts of gold… each and every one of them!! When I left the wedding I gave Brianna a big hug and told her that this was my favourite wedding thus for 2011…and I meant it! Thank you Brianna & Pat. You are true gems! We really enjoyed ourselves and I wish you a most amazing, wonderful life !! Lots of love – Shawna

We drove up to Moraine Lake during one of the most beautiful weekends this summer. Janna is a good ole’ Canadian girl and she managed to steal the heart of Chris whom is born and bred in Australia! Of course he followed her home and it led to this beautiful wedding. Janna & Chris are beautiful people who are gracious, compassionate, down to earth and totally thoughtful. Jenna & Terry have are thoughtful, caring, funny and don’t seem to take life too seriously. They are super laid back and it came across in their photographs. It was a beautiful day to galavant around Inglewood looking for neat spots to shoot! Thank you Jenna & Terry! I am really looking forward to their wedding of which is only TWO WEEKS AWAY!

Calgary weather has been pretty beautiful so it’s becoming pretty torturous to sit in front of the computer for 10 hours a day trying to play catch up with edits, but i am getting there! I am in a constant state of pasty Vitimin-D deficiency but I can justify long hours editing in the office because I love what I do. Lots of love – Shawna

Tamara & Erik had a fantastically awesome wedding. You may remember them from their engagement session back in 2010. These two are free and full of an indescribable energy. They are just an amazing couple with a lot of wisdom an amazing families.

I had such amazing time at their wedding, all of their friends brought us to tears in laughter. And even though the groomsmen were little rascals, I absolutely loved them all to pieces! Soo much fun to be had. Tamara rocked her beautiful wedding gown and look absolutely stunning from head to toe and Erik…just like their engagement session, looked like he came out of the GQ Magazine!
