We drove up to Moraine Lake during one of the most beautiful weekends this summer. Janna is a good ole’ Canadian girl and she managed to steal the heart of Chris whom is born and bred in Australia! Of course he followed her home and it led to this beautiful wedding. Janna & Chris are beautiful people who are gracious, compassionate, down to earth and totally thoughtful. Tamara & Erik had a fantastically awesome wedding. You may remember them from their engagement session back in 2010. These two are free and full of an indescribable energy. They are just an amazing couple with a lot of wisdom an amazing families.

I had such amazing time at their wedding, all of their friends brought us to tears in laughter. And even though the groomsmen were little rascals, I absolutely loved them all to pieces! Soo much fun to be had. Tamara rocked her beautiful wedding gown and look absolutely stunning from head to toe and Erik…just like their engagement session, looked like he came out of the GQ Magazine! Euniz & Abe were lucky enough to get married on one of the most beautiful days I have experienced yet in Calgary. We had a pretty rough winter this year and the beginning of summer wasn’t exactly that warm. The news anchors have been joking that we have had less than 78 MINUTES of summer so far, which sounds pretty accurate until recently. We were calling it “jacket-summer” or “the summer that never came”. Typically the summer months are so perfect in Calgary, it is why people live in this area because it is usually sunny, hot with a slight breeze while the rest of Canada suffers.

However, on Euniz & Abe’s wedding the sun came out & the day was absolutely perfect. I never saw these two without a smile on their faces the entire day. Euniz & Abe are just a down to earth, incredible couple. Both are driven, passionate & motivated and as a team I believe they are an unstoppable force.

It was an amazing day, spent with an amazing group of people. I felt so honoured to be a part of it all! Thank you guys! Lots of love – Shawna

Rochelle & Ben = fabulousness! There are not enough brilliant adjectives to describe the amazingness of these two… sincere, honest, funny, down to earth and totally and completely generous. This wedding was absolutely amazing. The details were to DIE for! These two have become true friends AND to top it off I fell in love with all of Rochelle & Ben’s family/friends at the reception.

The chemistry between these two is an amazing thing to see. I loved the fact they were up for anything! It doesn’t get any better than being able to do the formals in a 50′s diner! We also did a “first look” and it was hard to stop the waterfall from my eyes!

Melanie & Kenny had a fantastically awesome wedding. You may remember them from their engagement session back a few months ago. These two are free and full of an indescribable peace and joy. They are just an amazing couple with a lot of wisdom an amazing families.

We had to get pretty creative in the hallways of the Grand Theatre due to the glorious rain that graced us with it’s presence. It poured like I have never seen. Regardless, we still managed to take some amazing shots and stayed mostly dry!

Sara & Drew are beautiful people who are gracious, compassionate and totally thoughtful. These two got married in beautiful Canmore, Alberta! The people were delightful and I loved all of the character and charm of the town. The wedding was stunning! Sara & Drew did it their way, which is the magic the best weddings are made of. This day was just so much fun, Sara & Drew are such a delight and their families made me feel like I was family! I know I blogged a ton of photographs but I simply couldn’t help my self. It’s nice when couples give me two or three hours to photograph the formals. We were able to relax and have fun!
