It was cold, it was windy but it was an absolutely breathtaking afternoon at Elbow falls. The sun came out to kiss Euniz’s arms and she looked absolutely stunning! We did this shoot in a half hour due not only due to the cold but when the sun goes behind the mountains in Kananaskis country the light is gone! I wish we cold have had at least another half hour to run around on the rocks but regardless we still managed to get some beautiful shots. Euniz thank you for all of the goosebumps that you endured. You were freezing but you still managed to make it look easy. You are amazing and I love you to bits! xox Shawna

This day was one of the most beautiful days in Calgary. I love to be able to capture the fall colours. As you can imagine I am always a happy camper when yummy light comes out to play and play we did! It’s not every day you get light like what we had on their session. Megan & Shaun are just darling and oh so kind! Shaun is just that right amount of shy….the kind where it’s just adorable. Megan is funny, confident, collected and smart! As you can tell by the pictures they are SO MUCH FUN! They make a great team together and to top it off they are going to solidify their love in Newfoundland! Thank you Megan & Shaun. We had an amazing time running around Fish Creek Park!  Jane & Daniel are just lovely not to mention absolutely gorgeous.  Honest to goodness, these two are about as sweet, thoughtful and genuine as they come.

The trees have turned to their fall colours and it makes for beautiful photography.  So I am going to continue to enjoy this perfect fall season while I can, taking it all in, pumpkin spice candles and all.  I am fortunate enough to have met these two and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in 2012!  Lots of love…Shawna

Jenna & Terry have hearts of gold. They are gracious, kind and love life and people and appreciate a good dose of sarcasm which I love. These two are so darling. Jenna is that thoughtful caring type who listens well and speaks from her heart. Terry is charmingly fun-loving and doesn’t take life too seriously. They are just as sweet as can be. I felt so honored to be a part of their wedding. It was our last wedding of the year and what a great way to end it! These two have become friends to me through this whole process and I just adore them.

Although the sun was out for their wedding day, the fall greeted us with all it’s blustery cold! That didn’t stop them from enduring the goosebumps and by going to the top of a parking garage! They had the attitude of “anything for the shots” and I love that about them. We were lucky enough to catch the perfect “sweet” light….just before the sun set. It made for some stunning photography!
