This is the Wilde family and as you can see they are absolutely adorable! They are sweet, fun, full of energy and let’s just say I was pooped after our shoot! I love working with families. The different seasons you walk through in life with your family are precious. Even if you have a grumpy & crying two year old, you (and THEY) will be happy that you captured this time along the way. I am not interested in capturing the “perfect” family photo where everyone is flawless and wearing their perfectly pressed matching outfits. I am interested in capturing the honest moments, the joy and spontaneity of life as it unfolds in the moment. I love this session because it is exactly that. Enjoy…

Meet sweet little Brooke. She is SO cute and the beautiful daughter of Stacy & Jerrit of whom I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding back in 2009. Meet the fantastic Natalie & Kevin. They are sweet as pie. These two make each other laugh easily and have so much fun together. These two were troopers on their couples session as it was SOOOO chilly outside! When we first started shooting it started to hail, then rain, then finally sun!

The weather didn’t bother us one bit! You see Natalie & Kevin are like eating a yummy perfectly sweet biscotti on a Sunday morning. They are delightfully charming together and they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside just by being around them. These two are not engaged yet. Natalie wanted and couples session to celebrate their love with photographs and boy did we ever! Right now they are in Europe having a blast!

Simply Stunning – I don’t think any other words are needed to describe this beautiful Mom and Dad to be and the beautiful personality that shines through in these images. I had the opportunity to work with the amazing Wilde Family – Dagmara, Matt and their beautiful daughters Mischa and Shehera (the youngest). When we first met at the school Dagmara and Matt told me that Mischa LOVES having her picture taken. Put a camera in front of her and you will  get a big smile and then some! Now Shehera on the other hand was apparently not too fond of the camera.

Sometime children can be tough customers but the session turned out great. It took Shehera little while to warm up but as you can see they looked like they were having a blast! It took some work and some time, but really in the end, once everyone forgot about the camera and they were themselves.

How could I NOT get great photographs – awesome people make for awesome pictures! Thank you Dagmara & Matt for sharing your day with me. Thank you Grandma being my temporary assistant! Lots of love – Shawna
